Terms of usage
These terms govern your use of Walleet at https://walleet.app. By creating a Walleet account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Walleet.
Walleet is operated by IE Ilia Linnik, Nucubidze 53, 0177 Tbilisi, Georgia. You can reach us at hello@walleet.app.
What Walleet is
Walleet is a tool for recording what you own and watching it change over time. You create accounts, you type in their balances, and Walleet converts them to a single currency and charts the total.
It is worth being clear about what that means:
- Walleet does not connect to your bank. There is no bank linking and no transaction import. Every figure in the app is one you entered yourself.
- Walleet is not financial advice. Nothing in the app is a recommendation to buy, sell, hold or do anything else with your money. If you need advice, speak to someone qualified to give it.
- Walleet is not a bank, a broker or a payment service. It holds no money and moves no money.
- The numbers are only as good as what you put in. If you record a balance incorrectly, or stop updating an account, the totals and charts will be wrong, and Walleet has no way to know.
- Exchange rates are indicative. Multi-currency totals are converted using rates from a third-party provider. They are there to give you a usable picture, not a figure to settle a transaction on.
Your Walleet account
You need to be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age set by the law of your country if that is higher, to use Walleet.
You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for everything done through your Walleet account. Tell us at hello@walleet.app if you think someone else has access to it.
Give us an email address you can actually receive mail at. It is how we confirm your registration, let you reset your password, and reach you about your subscription.
One Walleet account is for one person. Do not share it.
Plans and payment
Walleet has a free plan and a paid plan.
- Free — up to 2 accounts.
- Advanced — unlimited accounts.
The Advanced plan is billed monthly or yearly, whichever you choose, through our payment provider Dodo Payments. It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. The price at the time you subscribe is the price you pay for that period; if we change prices, the change applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you before it takes effect.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from the Plan screen. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep Advanced until then, and you are not billed again.
When you drop to the free plan, accounts beyond the free limit are deactivated. Walleet keeps the two with the largest most recent balances and deactivates the rest, smallest first. Nothing is erased: the balances you recorded stay, and the accounts come back if you subscribe again or restore them within the free limit. But they will stop appearing in your totals, and this happens automatically — it is not a prompt you get to answer.
Your data
The balances and accounts you record are yours. We store and process them to run the service, and we do not sell them or use them for advertising. What we collect and who processes it is set out in our privacy policy.
Using Walleet properly
Do not use Walleet to break the law, to store someone else's personal data without their knowledge, or to attack the service — no scraping at a scale that degrades it, no attempts to reach other people's Walleet accounts, no probing for vulnerabilities without asking us first. If you find a security problem, we would genuinely like to hear about it at hello@walleet.app.
Availability
We try to keep Walleet running and working, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption. We may need to take it down for maintenance, and we may change, add or remove features. If we remove something you rely on, we will give you as much notice as we reasonably can.
Closing your Walleet account
To close your Walleet account, email hello@walleet.app and we will delete it and the data in it. You can also ask us for a copy of your data first — see the privacy policy for the full list of rights you have.
We may suspend or close your Walleet account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if keeping it open would put the service or other users at risk. Except where we cannot, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right.
No warranty
Walleet is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be error-free, that it will meet your particular needs, or that the figures it shows will be accurate — they depend on what you enter and on rates we get from someone else. Do not rely on Walleet as your only record of your finances, and do not use it as the basis of a decision you could not afford to get wrong.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence and for fraud. Nothing in these terms affects the statutory rights you have as a consumer.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for any financial decision you make using Walleet. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we update the effective date shown at the top of this page, and we will tell you in the app about changes that materially affect you. If you keep using Walleet after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Georgia, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of Walleet will be heard by the courts of Georgia.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer-law provisions of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings there.
